First Attempt at Video Blogging

Here's a clip I took whilst out on my improptu wild camp on the North York Moors over the weekend.  I know everyone thinks their own voice sounds bizarre when they hear it back but I can assure listeners that I don't have the lisp that seems to have appeared on the clip?

Anway enjoy!

Great first efort. It's short, to the point and gets over the information really well. You're right about voices sounding wierd to their 'owner' when recorded. I always wonder about mine on the vids I post.
Anyway, great and informative blog and video. Keep them coming.
Cheers,
Fenlander (www.fenlander2.wordpress.com)

This is a great Local Adventure - I'd love to link to it from http://localadventureproject.com if you wouldn't mind?

You've got a great video voice by the way, I wouldn't worry about that!

A great little video and nice to see different ways to pitch a tarp.

I'm another one who doesn't like the sound of their voice on video/audio

Very nicely done. Stealth, beautiful views, and gear! What more could a UL Backpacker want. :-D

Thanks for all the positive comments, I'll certainly do a few more. It's also opened my eyes to the You Tube community as well I didn't realise people hover around searching for stuff and commenting over there. It's just not something I've ever really used - I can feel a few unproductive evenings coming on...

Cheers folks

That is a really nice spot. It's great having a favorite place that you can bail to for a night under the stars. It's also nice that you made the effort to tell people about it. Hope it inspires others to do the same. Thanks :)

Nice to see the Solo Tarp still in use and it has lasted so well.

Looking forward to seeing and hearing more of your podcasts as you release them ;-)

That's the tarp that got me into Tarping, it's still the first choice for many trips too, although I've not been getting out and about all that much over the last few months.

The Podcasts are going to be interesting... (is there a sarcasm font?) The quality won't be terrific. I'm hoping to get some good subject matter to make up for it though.
