Two weeks food.

Here lies two weeks of food for the TGO Challange. Two thousand five hundred of scurvy inducing calories a day. Those calories weigh about 675g on top of that there's maps and solid fuel tablets to package up and send the four food drops. I'll be topping up at local public houses and chip shops along the way as it's reckoned that you need about 4000 calories for a full days backpacking. I could however do with losing a few lbs...

Looks tasty - I'd grab an apple, orange and banana on the way each day to avoid the scurvy ;)

Welcome Hendrik! I never really eat much fruit. That is until I'm on the trail when I get massive urges for tasty, juicy, fruit. I was having murderous thoughts about a chap a couple of weeks ago when I was in the Lakes who had a couple of apples...

If you're anything like me you probably managed to lose a couple of pounds. I lost 9 or 10 pounds :-)

Hope you had a good crossing, haven't a clue if I've lost anything, the last week was one of food, booze and short days - ahh bliss.
