The beak itself isn't really a problem, the way you fasten it onto the tarp is the main issue. A good fitting can by draped over the top and fixed with guy lines. I want something that clips on. The front pole of the tarp is a problem too. If I ever finish it than I'll write about it.Shed Dwellerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07578211960030517465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5389645183685303771.post-56108337136740946582012-04-07T18:55:26.861+01:002012-04-07T18:55:26.861+01:00Hi-

I have a cuben tarp and would like to make a modular one for it- need not be too big not go to the ground, say halfway down the front guy; but would certainly add tons of extra protection.

cheers,

peterpetersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02821038855786914638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5389645183685303771.post-39562528173351548032011-08-03T12:47:55.181+01:002011-08-03T12:47:55.181+01:00Really nice workmanship, looks very professional!

The rain skirt that I've got is about 54" long and that works.Shed Dwellerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07578211960030517465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5389645183685303771.post-36823848228911276022011-07-19T21:50:28.911+01:002011-07-19T21:50:28.911+01:00That looks pretty good, I'm sure it would be f...That looks pretty good, I'm sure it would be fine pitched to the ground on 1 side if required.

Assuming you're using a bivvy bag could you make a head end pyramid type tarp from the standard width cuben?Mac Ehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11212410938991488721noreply@blogger.com
